Tether Revenue Surpasses $1.5 Billion While Ethereum Lags Behind

Tether, the leading stablecoin in the cryptocurrency market, has seen its revenue soar, reaching $1.46 billion this year, with projections to exceed $1.5 billion soon. This marks a significant increase compared to other major players like Ethereum, which has generated only $157 million in revenue in 2025.

In contrast, other stablecoins like USD Coin and platforms like Solana have also experienced growth, but Tether remains the dominant force in the industry. Despite Ethereum’s lower revenue, its decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem continues to hold strong.

As Tether continues to grow, it remains a key player in the stablecoin sector, leaving competitors like Circle, Solana, and Tron far behind in terms of revenue generation.
